Serving Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Northwest of England

Nutgrove School & Nursery

Could you please pray for our school as we step out in faith towards becoming one of the very first academies within the Wesley Trust. Pray for all members of the school community on this journey.  Please also pray for the school to continue to be active in promoting the distinctively Methodist Ethos in the local area through liaising with local partners.  As leaders seek to build a strong and prosperous future for our town as part of the new growth and vision agenda, may the children in our school bring new hope and share their Christian character as they become involved in shaping this future. (25th February 2018)

The President of the Methodist Conference, the Rev’d Dr Mark Wakelin, and the Chair of the Liverpool District, the Rev’d Jim Booth visited Nutgrove Methodist Primary School and the newly built nursery on Friday 26 April. They spent time with the staff of the school and the nursery and were able to meet children at both locations. In the nursery the youngsters were able to talk about the story of Noah’s ark and in the school, the President took part in the afternoon worship, presented awards, and taught the children a song, playing a borrowed guitar. To round off the visit the children showed the visitors their RE work, over drinks and biscuits in the Wesley room.
