Serving Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Northwest of England

Nutgrove School & Nursery

Please pray for our school as we continue to prepare for our church school SIAMS inspection and strengthen the school’s prayer life. We look forward to our big summer event – the Alice in Wonderland After School Event supported by PTFA. Please also pray for Y6 children as they prepare to leave for high school and all children in their final assessments of the year; for new teachers who will be moving from their final teaching practice placements to take up temporary teaching posts at the school and for Miss Griffiths (Y6 teacher)  on her maternity leave. (28th June)

The President of the Methodist Conference, the Rev’d Dr Mark Wakelin, and the Chair of the Liverpool District, the Rev’d Jim Booth visited Nutgrove Methodist Primary School and the newly built nursery on Friday 26 April. They spent time with the staff of the school and the nursery and were able to meet children at both locations. In the nursery the youngsters were able to talk about the story of Noah’s ark and in the school, the President took part in the afternoon worship, presented awards, and taught the children a song, playing a borrowed guitar. To round off the visit the children showed the visitors their RE work, over drinks and biscuits in the Wesley room.
