YP & families, Lay Employment
I was born in Hastings and moved around the country with my parents until we settled on the Wirral when I was 16. I moved to Warrington when I retired, to live near to my daughter and her family.
I went to the local Methodist Church when I was 2 weeks old and have been going ever since. Over the years I have been a Sunday School teacher and church organist and have been a local preacher for 18 years. For 40 years I ran an open youth club with my husband in Hoylake.
I currently worship at Latchford Church and New Song Church. On Mondays I can be found serving at the Bold Street Coffee Shop.
Most of my working life was spent in admin but for the last 5 years I was chaplain at the Methodist Dementia Care Home in Ellesmere Port.
Any spare time is spent with my young grandson and doing ‘ladies who lunch’.
